Fourth of July Celebration
Kick off at 6pm
Downtown Effingham

A parade is held downtown starting at Maple and Temple and ending on Jefferson in downtown Effingham. Events, including live music, are held throughout the day at Hendlemeyer Park on South Fourth Street. A fireworks display begins at dusk.

View a dazzling panorama of the early life in this German Catholic community, founded in 1838, and the multitude of religious artifacts left by the Franciscans who first arrived in 1858.
